ON THE DAY
Is it an all ages event?
No, this is not an all ages event. You must be 16 years of age to attend Coaster 2011. You will be required to show photo ID.
Can I leave the venue and come back in?
NO. There will be no passouts.
If it rains do I get my money back?
No, the event will be going ahead rain, hail or shine. If it rains there is some shelter but not enough for everyone so you will get wet if you don’t bring a raincoat.
Can I bring my dog to the festival?
No dogs or other pets will be allowed on the grounds. Exceptions will be made for Guide Dogs and Police sniffer dogs or people dressed as animals as long as you have a ticket.
Will there be an ATM onsite?
YES – there will be ATM's available on site. More details closer to the event.
Can I bring along my own food and water?
No bottled water or beverage of any kind is allowed to be bought into the festival. No glass or cans allowed. No food allowed. All bags will be checked by security and any bottled water or drink, food, glass ect will be confiscated.
Are bare feet ok?
No. You must wear shoes at all times. Thongs are allowed, however we do recommend closed in shoes unless you want your feet to look like those of a hobbit.
What Items are not allowed at Coaster?
Glass, cans, skateboards, chairs (folding, portable, camping), angry personalities, anything studded, (i.e. belts, wristbands etc.), weapons of any kind, fireworks, alcohol, drugs, video and tape recording devices, professional still cameras (small still cameras ARE allowed), laser lights, umbrellas (bring a plastic poncho or a raincoat instead.), water pistols, any other items considered illegal or dangerous and strictly no animals.
Will Sniffer dogs be present at the event?
Anything is possible. Coaster does not condone nor will tolerate the use of illicit substances. Any patrons found in the possession of such substances will be removed from the grounds immediately and may be the subject of police scrutiny. Don’t bring anything that can be sniffed.
Will Police be present at Coaster.
Yes, there will be a strong police presence at the event.

Can I camp overnight?
No, there is NO camping at the showground.

There is a wide range of accommodation available on the Central Coast.

Will I be able to buy bands merch?
Yes there will be an area where you can purchase from a great range of band merchandise.
Will there be “Coaster” Merch to buy?
Yes, we will have an exclusive spectacually sexy brand of Coaster products.
ALCOHOL
Can I purchase alcohol at Coaster?
Yes, you will require a 18+ wristband to be eligible to purchase alcohol. You must present current photo ID to receive your wristband. It does not matter if you are a young chicken of 18 or decrepit oldie of 85 you will still be required to present ID. Please note we will be practicing the responsible service of alcohol & encourage you to have a drink and enjoy yourself but if you go overboard we will habe to escort you from the premisies.
If you are caught giving alcohol to a minor – this is a criminal offence and will be dealt with accordingly.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
No. Alcohol is not allowed to be brought into the venue. The venue will have several bars which you can purchase alcohol from. All bags will be checked by security upon entry and any glass bottles, alcohol or opened drinks will be confiscated.
